Folds of Honor

In partnership with the Vermont Lake Monsters, we launched this campaign to fund scholarships aimed at assisting Vermont’s military families in 2013. The program funded six $5,000 scholarships through 2017, with more to come!

25th Anniversary Make-A-Wish Gala

On April 12, 2014, Make-A-Wish Vermont will celebrate 25 years of making Vermont children's wishes come true. In recognition of this anniversary we have signed on to help as a sponsor hosting a black-tie fundraising event. We will celebrate the lives that have been changed and reaffirm our commitment to reaching every eligible Vermont child.

First Night Burlington Celebration

Anheuser-Busch and Farrell Distributing joined up with First Night Burlington in a collaboration to help promote responsibility during the New Year holiday. With this sponsorship we were able to help secure lower button pricing for attendees so they could enjoy the festival at a very affordable price. Burlington continues to showcase new performers and welcome back old friends to help ring in the New year with a responsible celebration of the arts.

Community Award 

in 2016 the Lake Chamber Regional of Commerce awarded Farrell Distribuitng the Community Award. The Community Award recognizes a company that is not only a vital part of our economy, but through their commitment to our community, shapes our future. 

Make the Cut

Beverage Warehouse in Winooski, Vermont and 14th Star Brewing Company in St. Albans, Vermont have created a home brew competition open to VT home brewing residents 500+ submissions have been collected in three years.

Stowe Wine & Food Classic

Farrell is proud to be a part of this annual fundraiser. The Stowe Wine & Food Classic is New England’s preeminent culinary event and the signature event of Stowe Charities, Inc. Over the event’s 18-year history, Stowe Charities has raised more than $275,000 for local organizations. This year, in addition to continuing our longtime support for Copley Hospital, the Stowe area’s regional hospital, we are also supporting a very special beneficiary – Camp Ta-Kum-Ta – which provides magical experiences for children who have or have had cancer.

Annual Travis Roy Foundation Fundraiser

Farrell Distributing along with the Essex Resort hosts this annual holiday time wine and beer tasting fundraiser for Travis Roy. We are proud to associate ourselves and help Travis in his mission. We have raised over $60,000 in 8 years.

Good Night Irene

Together with Long Trail Brewing, we raised more than $18,000 by donating a portion of Good Night Irene draught beer, t-shirt and sweatshirt sales to the Vermont Foodbank and the Vermont Farm Disaster Relief Fund immediately following the storm and the year after. Our state continues to rebuild from that storm and we annually help in events focused on helping those still in need.

Make A Wish

We have worked with this amazing group numerous times over the years helping make local Vermont wishes come to life.

Responsibility Campaigns

We work with some of the top media outlets in the state each year to reinforce some important responsibility campaigns "Dont Drink and Drive", "Please Recycle" , "Our Roads Our Responsibility", and "Give a Damn, Dont Drive Drunk"

Farrell Distributing Portfolio Tasting

At our regional wine tasting in Manchester, Vermont, we raised $10,000 to benefit the American Red Cross of Vermont and the New Hampshire Valley and the Vermont Irene Relief Fund back in 2013. Farrell Distributing matched funds raised by silent auction. Generous wine donations from many suppliers as well as in-kind donations from restaurants and lodging providers helped make this a success. 

Anheuser-Busch Water Donation

In the wake of Hurricane Irene, we worked with Southern Vermont AB distributor g.housen to coordinate delivery of 2,000 cases of water from Anheuser-Busch to relief agencies in Vermont.

CICERONE Certified Beer Servers, Certified Specialists Of Wine, WSET Certified

Farrell Distributing is proud to have a large number of sales and management certified in there respected fields. We take pride that our teams are top of the class and have the certifications to meet the needs of our retailers and consumers. We currenlty have on staff 75 Cicerone Certified Beer Servers, 8 Certified Specialists Of Wine and 4 WSET.

USBG VT

Partnering with the U.S. Bartenders' Guild Vermont Chapter to provide craft beer related training. These training sessions will focus on the basics of brewing, the history of beer, beer styles and proper serving and storing techniques for publicans. The goal of the trainings is to educate and inform Vermont's premier bartenders and to prepare them for any beer certifications which they may chose to pursue.

It's The Beer Talking

Farrell teamed up with Free Press Media to host and help produce a beer podcast to discuss the changing craft beer landscape and explore different angles from a distributors point of view. Available on iTunes and Soundcloud.

Vermont Travel Industry Conference 

Farrell has been proud ot help quench the thirst of friends and partners at Vermont's Premier Tourism Conference. We joined the tourism industry and it's  colleagues to celebrate our economy, and how to stay up to day in media, market and technology since 2013.

ONE Fashion Event

Farrell Distributing is proud to be part of the Boys & Girls Club ONE Fashion Event at BTV, the first ever community event held at Burlington International Airport !  With hand chosen community models, 25 local retailers and on on-stage introduction to Club members, this March 7th show is sure to sizzle like never before. We couldn’t be happier to be part of an event that makes sure that some very deserving kids of the Old North End of Burlington have a safe place to spend their out of school time each day. 

Operation Backyard Reno-Vate

This was a mission to take care of one lucky service person - active or retired - and whip their backyard into shape! Mikes Hard Lemonade, Farrell and WOKO were proud to develop Operation Backyard Reno-vate in 2016 that awarded $3,000 to one nominated retired service member to help spruce up, outfit, decorate and clean up their backyard.

Flyin Ryan Hawks Foundation

Farrell supports Long Trail Brewing in many efforts to help raise awareness for this great organization. Ryan Hawks was a dynamic human being with a passion and love for the mountains and skiing. As a competitor on the Subaru Freeskiing World Tour, Ryan was well loved, and known as "Flyin Ryan." In 2011, Ryan was injured at the Kirkwood, CA tour stop and passed away a few days later due the internal injuries he sustained from his fall. Ryan will always be remembered for being a true participant in life who lived every minute.

Shortly after Ryan passed, his family discovered on his computer a set of 13 Core Principles For Living that he had written himself. The Flyin Ryan Hawks Foundation was established to share these values, extend Ryan’s humanness in an effort to enrich the lives of young adventurers, and make the world a better place.

24Hours of Stratton

Farrell, 14th Star Brewery, von Trapp Brewery, Long Trail Brewery and Harpoon Brewery help sponsor The 24 Hours of Stratton. It is a skiing and snowboarding event designed for people of all ages and ability. Winter sports enthusiasts will come together at Vermont's premier snow-making resort for one of the largest and most magical fundraising events to help underprivileged children in a way that...CHANGES LIVES!

Annual Forum Fundraiser Dinner

Farrell, Zero Gravity and Citizen Cider proudly help sponsor this great event held by the Vermont Fresh Network. We join in for the most impressive dinner party of the season! Celebrate the unique and delicious partnerships between Vermont's culinary crème de la crème at the historic Coach Barn at Shelburne Farms on the shores of Lake Champlain.

We are pleased to help bring performances to this stage each year. An independent, non-profit Performing arts center with a eclectic range of events and exhibitions featuring established and emerging artists.

Farrell Distributing is proud to announce we are the exclusive beverage distribution affiliated partner iin 2016 of the Vermont Fresh Network.The Vermont Fresh Network  is dedicated to developing solutions for farmers and chefs to market more locally grown food. This runs in full allignment with our commitment to Made in Vermont.

University of Vermont Business of Craft Beer

The Business of Craft Beer is an online professional certificate program offered by The University of Vermont. Farrell Distributing is proud to be a part of this program with our marketing team leading two weeks of instructor duty three times a year.

Evening Song

We support this annual benefit dinner which funds cancer support programs for Fletcher Allen patients and their families. The Cancer Patient Support Program (CPS) strives to ensure that every patient diagnosed with cancer is able to face the disease with dignity, serenity and confidence.  Each year the proceeds from Evening Song events have provided the vital resources needed to sustain the Caner Patient Support Program for the coming year. 

University of Vermont Medical Center Breast Care Center Program

Farrell Distributing along with 17 local restaurants has raised more than $270,000 over the last 15 years through this program. For every bottle of selected fine wines purchased in the months of September and October participating restaurants and Farrell Distributing will each donate $1.00 to our local breast care center at the University of Vermont.  Also, more recently von Trapp Brewery has jumped in as well, so every pint of von Trapp sold during these months a .25cent donation will be made as well. Please support the participating restaurants that partner to raise funds for our local Cancer Center. You can find the participating restaurants on Facebook during the months of September and October.

University of Vermont Medical Center Annual Golf Tournament Luncheon

We are a Beverage sponsor for this event, which benefits the programs of the Vermont Children’s Hospital at Fletcher Allen. Over the years we have helped raise over $45,000. 

Green Drinks With The Skinny Pancake and Farrell's Made in Vermont Portfolio

Green Drinks is a monthly gathering on the last Tuesday of every month in Burlington where engaged members of our community can meet to network and learn about green initiatives in Vermot.

Girls Pint Out Is Happy To Announce That Vermont Is The Newest Chapter In Vermont

Farrell and it's Craft Beer partners were proud to be the first sponsor of this new organization in Vermont. Girls Pint Out originated in Indianapolis, Indiana in early 2010. The Girls Pint Out movement quickly spread to Arizona and Texas. Today Girls Pint Out has more than 50 chapters in over 30 states, Washington D.C., and Puerto Rico. Our mission is to build a community of women who love craft beer and who are an active, contributing part of the greater craft beer community. 


Ride the Harpoon Point to Point!

The Harpoon Point to Point was created in 2002 to raise funds and awareness for the Vermont Foodbank's mission to end the growing problem of hunger in Vermont. Whether choosing to tackle 115 miles from Williston, 50 miles from Bethel, or 25 miles in Windsor everyone finishes and celebrates together at Harpoon Brewery in Windsor with hot showers, fresh beer, live music, and a delicious BBQ! Money is also collected through donation growlers throughout the state.

Long Trail Century Ride to benefit Vermont Adaptive

Happy to support this great day to support VT Adaptive, All rides start and finish at Long Trail Brewery in Bridgewater Corners, VT. Three rides, including a century ride, 60 miler and a 20-mile loop for those looking for a shorter ride or for adaptive riders, will take you in and around the beautiful Killington region.

Vermont Beer Week

Farrell was first to  announce they would help sponsor the first official Vermont Beer Week, debuting Fall 2015.Taking place September 18-27 with support from the Vermont Department of Tourism. Vermont Beer Week aims to bring locals & tourists together for a 10 day celebration embracing our craft beer culture.

Discover Burlington Jazz Festival

Along with Long Trail Brewing & William Hill Winery, we serve as signature sponsors for this annual 10-day music and cultural event. This year the annual Burlington Discover Jazz Festival celebrated it’s 31st anniversary celebrating amazing live music in Burlington, Vermont. In 1983 the Festival gave Vermont’s flourishing jazz community the recognition it deserved – a celebration combining incredible local talent with jazz legends from every corner of the globe. Throughout the event the city comes alive.

Lake Champlain Maritime Festival

In conjunction with Harpoon Brewery, we sponsor this annual festival, which features education, entertainment and other activities that draw attention to the natural beauty and history of Lake Champlain.

Vermont Lake Monsters

Farrell Distributing is a partner with the Lake Monsters, a Single-A affiliate of Oakland Athletics located right in Burlington making there home at Centennial field. Located on the University of Vermont campus, Centennial Field officially opened on April 17, 1906 with UVM's victory over the University of Maine. The park is one of the oldest still in use in professional baseball. The Beer Pavilion in right field offers exceptional views, and cold beer! 

Champlain Valley Exposition

As a partner of the Champlain Valley Exposition, we sponsor the Budweiser Music Series, bringing some of the best national music talent to the Exposition stage and thousands of Vermonters. Our teams are around all week hosting events and samplings, come by and say hello. 

Purple Hearts Reunited

Farrell Distributing is proud to be associated this tremendous organization in partnership with the 14th Star Brewing Company. Purple Hearts Reunited was established in Vermont in 2012 by Zachariah Fike. As a registered 501 (c)(3) nonprofit foundation, Purple Hearts Reunited locates lost or stolen military medals and returns them to veterans or their living family members in order to honor their sacrifice to the nation.

Burlington City Arts

Farrell helps support the BCA on there monthly art openings. In 1995, BCA won permission from the City of Burlington to convert the ground floor of the former firehouse building (now The BCA Center) into a fine arts gallery on a trial basis. Since then, the Center has blossomed into Vermont’s premiere location for contemporary art. 


People's United Bank Vermont City Marathon & Relay

Farrell Distributing and Michelob Ultra are a proud sponsor of the Vermont City Marathon; Vermont's largest one day sporting event in Vermont. The KeyBank Vermont City Marathon & Relay is a community effort, recognizing all those who have had a hand in making the race a success for 26 years. From the runners and the volunteers to the crowds cheering on the sidelines, we all share the same desire to cross the finish line, now and in the future.

Mad Mountain Marathon

14th Star Brewing and Farrell teamed up to sponsor the The Fifth Annual Mad Marathon, in the gorgeous Mad River Valley, located in Central Vermont, "The World's Most Beautiful Marathon".

Queen City Chili Cook Off

Queen City Brewery along with Farrell Participate in this annual event where all the proceeds benefit the Burlington Fire Fighters Association. We just celebrated our 4th year this March 27th 2016.
