ABOUT VCC:

Yes, there’s a full-time comedy venue in Vermont! In November 2015, Vermont Comedy Club opened its doors to the public for the first time. The space was built inside the old Armory building at 101 Main Street, Burlington (formerly Sh-Na-Na’s and Hunt’s). The space features an upscale lounge that offers creative cocktails, craft beer and wine, and tasty snacks (no ticket required). The beautiful, state-of-the-art showroom seats 160 people in cabaret style and offers full table service. Vermont Comedy Club presents standup & improv shows five nights a week featuring some of the best local, regional and national talent available. The club also boasts a small classroom, and offers classes and workshops in comedy for kids and adults year round.

The 7pm show, “Life of the Party,” opens with a hilarious rap battle and features silly, “Whose Line is it, Anyway?” style comedy. How it Works The lounge opens Tues-Sun at 5pm and no ticket is required, so come on in! When the showroom opens (generally 30 minutes prior to showtime), you will be escorted to a table and VCC’s friendly servers will take care of you for the duration of the show. There are no reserved seats – but if you arrive early, you’ll have better ones (and a greater chance of being seated with your party). Occasionally you may be seated at the same table with a few strangers – good for you; you’re making new friends!
