Key sponsors of the series include Farrell Distributing, Casella Waste Management and Catamount Radio. This summer’s series will feature the nationally-acclaimed ten-piece band Changes in Latitudes, slated to perform on August 16th, bringing beach balls, leis, and an entire beach party, fun for all ages, to the base of Vermont’s second highest peak.

The six-week concert series kicks off on Saturday July 26th, with performances scheduled every consecutive Saturday afternoon through August 30th.   The concerts, held Saturdays from 3:30 to 6:00 pm at Killington Resort’s Roaring Brook Umbrella Bars feature lawn games and outdoor fun. Plus all in attendance will have the chance to win a 2014-2015 Killington season pass.  Guests are encouraged to come early to enjoy the atmosphere or summer activities, and enjoy a dinner after the show along Killington Road.

The concert series rounds out a very busy summer calendar of events, and as in past years, concerts have been scheduled to compliment and coincide with other special events taking place in Killington.  Major events coordinated alongside the weekly shows include:

Last summer’s lineup featured headliners Martin Sexton and Donavon Frankenreiter, and attracted over 6,000 people to Killington Resort’s Roaring Brook Umbrella Bars. Now in its fifth year, the Town expects the series to draw an even larger audience each show.  Additional musical acts will be announced soon.

Located in the heart of Vermont’s Green Mountains, Killington is home to the Killington Ski and Golf Resort, Green Mountain National Golf Course, exceptional restaurants and four seasons of endless outdoor activities.  More information on all events is available at www.discoverkillington.com.

Ryan Chaffin, Director of Marketing for Farrell Distributing echoed the Town’s enthusiasm stating, “Farrell Distributing has deep ties to Vermont, and are deeply committed to supporting the people and communities around us, and are thrilled to partner with the Town of Killington.”  Farrell has been a partner with the Long Trail Brewing Company for over 24 years, supporting them and representing them statewide.
