The Green Mountains will soon be filled with live music and cold beverages, just the way we like it…
Summer in Vermont is hard to beat! We wait all year for these crucial few months to take full advantage of all the beauty that the Green Mountains have to offer. I got thinking a week back along with many other Vermont music fans that were getting geared up for the holiday and for the #GD50 #FareTheeWell run about our local music scene this Summer. Live music in Vermont is special, not just because the venues across the state offer truly unique experiences, but because we fully support all of them. We even love to see the the loads of out of state traffic that follow and stay in our resorts, eat at our restaurants, and drink our beverages. We embrace the crowds they bring, and we are lucky to have such a wide range of opportunities to catch local and major touring acts here locally.
Of course you can most likely find us in the #BeerGardens doing some quality control!
Farrell Distributing has been involved in bringing our beverage brand partners front and center state wide aligning them with music gatherings for decades. From the long standing partnership between the Burlington Discover Jazz Festival, and the newer kid on the block with Grace Potter’s Grand Point North. These have always proved to deliver great brand experiences and opportunities for those breweries and wineries to shine and tell their story.
Hard to beat a cold local IPA, a frosty domestic lager, or even a nice glass of cold white wine while enjoying the sunshine and your favorite band. Of course some local Root Beer or Kombucha hits the spot as well.
While impossible to list them all, here are a few to keep your eyes on that we are proud to partner with…

I hope to see you out and about celebrating live music this summer here in VT, and so will our beverage partners and sponsors at all of these great festivals. They all put a lot of work into marketing and promoting these, as well as brewing and fermenting great liquids to enjoy at them.
We will be working hard to make sure the taps are flowing and ready for you when you arrive, we promise.
The music from Chicago was flowing from my deck over the holiday weekend, and I am now focusing on all the great music I will get to see in the upcoming months in our beautiful state. I think JG said it best “let there be songs to fill the air”. Happy to say here in Vermont, we will definitely hold true to that, with a cold beverage in hand may I add.
I wish you all a safe and happy rest of your Summer, however you choose to spend it, hopefully it’s in the sun!
