As the year wraps up, consumers start to celebrate dang near everything. And what better way to celebrate than with some bubbly? Here are a few that we think you’ll enjoy and will provide a great value to your customers.

La Marca Prosecco

“Prosecco is distinct from popular sparkling wines made elsewhere, including Spain and France, thanks to the unique terroir of the vineyards in the Prosecco region and the special character of the glera grape. Ample daytime sunshine, followed by cooling winds at night, ripens grapes to an ideal level while retaining sought-after, juicy acidity.”

Meiomi Sparkling Wine

“On the nose, aromas of green apples are laced with hints or ambrosia. Flavors of crunchy pears, zesty citrus, and honey layer over a slight yeastiness and a fresh minerality. Enjoy this sparkling wine with fresh oysters topped with a classic mignonette sauce, sushi, warm brie or a fresh mixed berry tart. Blend: 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir.”

Riofavara Spumante Extra Brut

“95 % Moscato di Noto, 5% Grecanico grown on chalk and limestone soils. Aged for 6 months on the lees in stainless steel before bottling with a liqueur de tirage and then aged for 12-14 months in bottle. Hand-disgorged and aged further for several months before release.”

Sommariva Prosecco Superiore Brut

“The colour is a brilliant straw-yellow enlivened by its perlage (strands of tiny bubbles). It is characterized by richer aromas of citrus fruit and fresh vegetation with pleasant hints of bread crust showing through, coming together on the palate with an exquisite gustative energy. Its fine perlage
ensures a persistent taste which is clean on the palate, making this the sparkling wine excellence for the table.”

Sommariva il Rosa Extra Dry Spumante

” Its fine perlage is enhanced by the color pink. It’s a fresh and fruity wine with flavors of red fruit, surely the cherry, but raspberry and strawberry, too.”

Meyer-Fonné Crémant d’Alsace Brut Extra 04

” The grapes( 60% Pinot Auxerrois, 20% Chardonnay, 15% Pinot Blanc, 5% Pinot Noir) are harvested at a potential alcohol of around 11% and vinified in the méthode champenoise. Around mid-March, the first fermentation is finished and the wine is bottled for the second fermentation, which lasts two to three months. It is left in bottle for at least twelve months before disgorging, when a minimum of dosage is added.”

Punta Crena Lumassina Frizzante 2015

“Made from 100% Lumassina grapes, this wine undergoes a closed-vat fermentation to trap natural carbonation, resulting in a frizzante wine. The wine is aged for two months on the lees before its release. A truly unique sparkling wine!”
