Lake Placid Craft Brewing Co and Farrell Distributing come together to help raise money for the Humane Society of Chittenden County in 2015.

South Burlington, VT — During the entire year of 2015, Lake Placid Craft Brewing Co, along with Farrell Distributing will come together to help raise money for the Humane Society of Chittenden County. A portion of all proceeds will be donated back to the HSCC from every pint or six pack purchased from all participating restaurants, pub’s, and/or local stores.

This year’s campaign came together after the Farrell team learned the legend of UBU sharing a pint at a local establishment after a long day in the office.

“Lake Placid’s flagship beer is named after Ubu, the biggest Chocolate Lab you have ever seen. Because of this, we have always had a special place in our hearts for our 4 legged friends,” says Gerald Lampman from FX Matt Brewing Company

Look for events at restaurants/pubs across the state to celebrate this partnership. You can find  those at under calendar. Also trips to the Brew Pub in Lake Placid for consumers will be featured at beverage centers across the state.

“Commitment to Community means a lot to us here at Farrell Distributing, we try to practice it every day in all corners of the state. This is a great way for us to help support our neighbors at the Humane Society and help promote our friends and partners at Lake Placid.” Ryan Chaffin , Director of Marketing, Farrell Distributing.

You can help show your support for man’s best friend by enjoying Lake Placid throughout the year at restaurants and stores state wide. Raise a pint and help in our mission of donating well deserved dollars to the HSCC.

“HSCC is excited to work with Farrell Distributing and Lake Placid Craft Brewing Company to raise money for the animals in our care. 70 percent of Vermonters own a household pet and Vermont ranks one of the highest in craft breweries per capita, it seems like a natural fit!” ~Claire Grioux-Williams

“With Lake Placid right across the Lake, we are happy to welcome Lake Placid Craft Brewing Co into our Vermont Family.  As Vermonters, we love animals and appreciate great beer, wherever they or it might come from.” Erin Alamed Volunteer and Community Outreach Manager

“HSCC is a private and independent not-for-profit organization serving both Chittenden and Grand Isle Counties whose mission is to foster compassionate treatment of animals and to prevent animal suffering. We’re funded solely by the generous contributions of local businesses, foundations, and individuals just like you!

We receive no local, state, or federal funding for the services we provide. We are registered, inspected, and authorized annually to operate as an animal shelter by the State of Vermont.

Each year we take in roughly 750 – 1,000 animals (dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs and more) and work to care for and responsibly place them in loving forever homes.”
