 Peak Organic Brewing

The first Non-GMO verified brewer in the world. “The concept has always been pretty simple to us. Pure ingredients make for better beer. We truly believe that the family farms we work with grow the best ingredients on earth. It’s our job to showcase them”.

“Because we’ve been brewing with organic ingredients since day 1, we’ve always technically been “Non-GMO”, but we’re proud to be the first to have the official designation. And, we’re proud to help advance the dialogue about GMOs and people’s right to know if it’s in the foods or drinks they are buying. We think people have a right to make that choice for themselves”.

The designation is granted by the Non-GMO Project, a not-for-profit organization committed to preserving and building sources of non-GMO products, educating consumers, and providing verified non-GMO choices.

Non-GMO Verified status indicates that the brands adhere to consensus-based best practices for avoidance of genetically modified organisms (GMOs), which are organisms whose natural genetic material has been altered through engineering techniques. Natural Merchants winery partners will proudly display the Non-GMO Verified badge on shelf tags and packaging so that consumers can easily identify the products.

As consumers continue to seek healthier food options, the concept of genetic modification of ingredients has come into the spotlight. While purchasing certified organic products is a substantial step in working toward a GMO-free diet, organic manufacturers and importers are going the extra step to obtain the Non-GMO Project Seal to give consumers additional peace of mind.

The Non-GMO Project is a non-profit organization committed to preserving and building the non-GMO food supply, educating consumers, and providing verified non-GMO choices. We believe that everyone deserves an informed choice about whether or not to consume genetically modified organisms. For more information visit www.nongmoproject.org.

Peak Organic a small brewing company dedicated to making delicious, creative, hand-crafted beer. When possible, we prefer to source from artisan and local farmers who grow organically. These farmers tend to grow exceptional ingredients, making our beer tasty. Starting off as home brewers in the nineties, experimenting incessantly with new recipes and styles. Most often, our concoctions were enjoyed after “peak” experiences in life, such as a spectacular day in the outdoors or quality time spent with friends, family and tasty cuisine.
