Supporting our local heroes is a top priority for us at Farrell Distributing, and we are committed to supporting the communities we serve across the state of Vermont. That is why we’re partnering with Anheuser-Busch to deliver cans of emergency drinking water to the Rutland, South Burlington, Jericho/Underhill, Rupert and New Haven Fire Departments in support of relief efforts here locally.

Anheuser-Busch and Farrell Distributing are providing each station a pallet worth of cans for emergency drinking water. The water will be sourced from Anheuser-Busch’s brewery in [Cartersville, Georgia/Fort Collins, Colorado] which periodically pauses beer production to can drinking water and be ready to help communities in times of disaster.

In 2019, Anheuser-Busch evolved their longstanding emergency drinking water program – building on our collective commitment to supporting local communities in times of need – to support volunteer firefighters battling wildfires across the country.
• They teamed up with the National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) to donate more than 1 million cans emergency drinking water to support the efforts of volunteer firefighters across the country and provide critical hydration to those who are volunteering to put their lives on the line.
• This year, Anheuser-Busch and their wholesaler network are proud to continue this partnership in support of our volunteer fire service and committed to providing 1.5 million cans of emergency drinking water in 2020 to fire departments across the country.

As the country faces more natural disasters, like wildfires, it’s important to have programs in place to help our emergency responders.
• Volunteer fire departments across the country are understaffed and under supported. There’s plenty of support they need – but hydration is a major concern – and an area we can help.
• Providing safe drinking water is an important first step to providing necessary resources to the men and women who risk their lives to protect the communities where we live and work.

Anheuser-Busch has a longstanding tradition of providing emergency drinking water and supplies for disaster relief efforts in partnership with the American Red Cross – dating back to 1906.
• Every year, Anheuser-Busch temporarily pauses brewing beer at their Fort Collins, Colorado and Cartersville, GA breweries and applies their production expertise to can clean, safe drinking water for disaster relief.
• Since the inception of their emergency drinking water program in 1988, Anheuser-Busch and its wholesaler partners have provided more than 83 million cans of water to U.S. communities affected by natural disasters and other crises nationwide.
• These donations represent our ongoing commitment to help American communities when it’s needed most.
