See Below From the Vermont Fresh Network;

This is a challenging time. COVID-19 has changed the way businesses can operate overnight. We all need to come together and support each other and our food and farm community.

Here are some tips on how we can help our restaurants, our farms, and our food and beverage producers:

  • Check a restaurant’s Facebook page/Instagram/website for updates. Hours, menus, and delivery options may change. We’ll do our best to update this page, but it’s always good to double check.

  • Buy a gift certificate. You’ll be able to enjoy a meal with friends and family when the restaurant opens again. Or in a year from now, when you find it in a drawer where you put it for safekeeping and forgot about it.

  • Order a t-shirt or hat from their online store. This is your chance to collect merch from your favorite bars, breweries, maple sugarmakers, cideries, and restaurants.

  • If your favorite restaurant is temporarily closed for business, make sure you head in to eat when they open back up. These are challenging times for all small businesses, they need our continued support. And remember…always leave a great tip!

  • Have you signed up for a CSA yet? Our farmers need help, too.

  • Send a basket of food goodies to a friend or family member that you haven’t seen in a while. Many of the folks who produce maple syrup, jam, hot sauce, and other types of specialty food offer mail order.

  • And last but not least, buy a gift certificate for your favorite people! This year, get all your gift shopping out of the way early.

If you would like to be added to the following list or have another way we can can all help our food and farm businesses, send us an email.
