David J. Farrell

President/CEO – South Burlington

David began his career at FDC over 30 years ago in the company’s former Winooski plant. David represents the third generation in the family business along with his two sisters and his son who brings a fourth generation to FDC . He follows his grandfather and father serving as president of the company as it enters its 85th year. He began his first summer in the breakage room where damaged goods were cleaned and repackaged. David worked through delivery, merchandising, sales and sales management before moving into marketing for the company in the mid 90’s and becoming its VP of Sales a decade or so later. David serves as a board member for the National Beer Wholesalers Assn. and the Burlington Business Assn. and is the current president of the Vermont Wholesale Beverage Assn. He lives in South Burlington with his wife Nancy and their two children DJ and Taylor. David enjoys snowboarding, golf, cooking, and live music in his spare time.

Todd Bouton

General Manager

Todd has worked at FDC for 24 years in many different capacities. A Graduate of the University of Vermont and a native to the state, Todd came to FDC immediately after graduation. Todd spent his first 6 years in Sales and the next 18 in Operations Management. Today he is the General Manager and enjoys his role in employing state of the art warehousing and “go to market”strategies. In his spare time, Todd enjoys Mountain Biking, Snowmobiling, Skiing and generally anything outdoors with his wife Terry and two children Nick & Erica.


Chris Vance

Director of Sales

Chris has held various sales positions throughout his career at Farrell. He began as a Sales Representative and then moved into the Assistant Sales Manager position in the Montpelier branch. Chris was promoted to State NA Manger in 1993 in the South Burlington branch and is currently the Director of Sales for the company. Chris is a native of Danville, VT and enjoys spending time in that community with his wife Pamela. Chris and Pam enjoy traveling to NH to spend time with their son Derek, who is  living and working in Portsmouth and their daughter Alysia, who lives in Manchester and attending SNHU.


Ryan Chaffin

Director of Marketing & Business Development

Ryan joined Farrell Distributing after 11 years working for the Long Trail Brewing Company in numerous roles in 2013, last being the State Manager for the brands under the company portfolio. Proud to bring years of experience in business and brand management, content management, digital and social media marketing, major event and field marketing,  partnership alignment, and community outreach experience. He enjoys working directly with the brand partners across all segments and helping tell their stories while being out and about visiting the market across the state engaging retailers and consumers.  Leveraging industry knowledge and skills to execute national marketing programs locally to reinforce with our Vermont consumers. Continually talk about our “Made in Vermont” portfolio (39 suppliers strong) reinforcing our commitment to our smaller , local partners as well. Working with each in a different capacity all with the goal of finding new ways to retail and building brand awareness. Ryan is a Champlain College graduate, has a wife Lindzey and a daughter Harlow Grace, along with two dogs!


Mark Moore

Director of Portfolio Management

Mark Moore Started his beverage career at Farrell Distributing in 1990 as a Sales Rep in the Northeast Kingdom.  In 1994 Mark left to pursue other career opportunities outside of the industry.  It wasn’t long before Mark realized his desire to get back into the wholesale business.  After spending many  years in the Vermont market working for other wholesalers, gaining knowledge and experience Mark found his way back to Farrell Distributing in 2015.  He spent a year and a half as the State NA Manager and in August of 2017 took on a new role as the State Beer Manager. In January 2018 Mark transitioned into a newly formed position of Director of Portfolio Management where he is blessed to work with our partners from all categories of the business. During his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife doing various outdoor activities and traveling.


Cathy Campbell

Corporate Controller

Cathy has worked for FDC since the summer of 2008. She received her Bachelor’s in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University and is a native to Burlington, Vermont. Cathy came to FDC after nine years with the local Pepsi distributor. Prior to the beverage industry she spent several years in banking, healthcare and insurance. She enjoys employing her financial skills in all areas of the business as the Corporate Controller. Cathy enjoys camping, gardening and attending family sports events with her husband Rich and two daughters Rachel and Ryann.


Peter Blandy

Large Format Sales Manager

Pete started his career in the beverage industry in 1979 working for a wholesaler in No. Virginia. He held a number of positions including sales rep, District Manager, Key Account Manager and Sales Manager. In 1999, Pete moved his family to Vermont and went to work for the Gallo Winery as the Market Manager for Vermont and Western Mass. He moved to his current position as Sales Manager for the Rutland branch of Farrell Distributing in 2003. He and his wife Lynn have a son, two daughters and five grandchildren.


Donald Macdonald

Small Format Sales Manager

Donald is a graduate of New England Culinary Institute with both an AOS in culinary arts and a degree in Food & Beverage Management. His 14 year career in the hospitality field started in the kitchen and progressed to F&B  Manager working in restaurants and resorts from coast to coast. Donald started with Farrell Distributing in 2005 and has been a Sales Rep, Area Sales Manager, Wine Educator, Wine Portfolio Manager, & now is the Small Format Sales Manager. In his current role he manages 9 ASMs and 40 Sales Reps who collectively cover all segments of our portfolios, with a focus on Independent Accounts and On-Premise. He has earned his CSW from the Society of Wine Educators, is a Cicerone Certified Beer Server and is in the final phase of the WSET Diploma Program. Donald is very active with local media and had been involved in local TV segments and cooking shows including “Wine Down Wednesday” and “New England Cooks.” Donald is also passionate about several charity events during the year, including one he helped to start by partnering with the Travis Roy Foundation for an annual Wine Gala, which is in its 10th year.


Jason Strempek

Craft Beer Portfolio Manager

Jason works with breweries on a Statewide and National basis driving execution on plans and programs. He enjoys a hands-on approach managing craft brands directly at retail and within our sales team. He enjoys hockey, boating, live music, and most of all – watching his boys play lacrosse. Jason lives in South Burlington with his wife and their two sons.


Debbie McGinnis

Wine Portfolio Manager – Rutland

I started in the wholesale industry in 1985 after graduating from Mount Saint Joseph Academy. In my 32 years, I’ve held various positions from office admin/management to sales/marketing to wine purchasing and inventory management. I joined Farrell Distributing in late 2015 and currently hold a position as Wine Portfolio Manager. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, taking walks with our dogs, and a number of outdoor activities including four wheeling and kayaking.


Jason LeDuc

Wine Portfolio Manager – South Burlington

Jason has worked at Farrell for 11 years. Jason graduated from Champlain College then went on to work in the restaurant industry for 8 years until he entered into the wholesale industry, selling to fine wine retail and restaurants. He is currently the State Fine Wine Manager helping build the wine portfolio with small family wineries. Jason has earned the Certified Specialist of Wine, from the Society of Wine Educators and Level 3 certification from The Wine and Spirit Education Trust. In his spare time, Jason enjoys spending time with his family, cooking and running.


Doug Brassard

NA Portfolio Manager

Doug Brassard has been in the beverage industry for nearly 26 years. Though new to FDC, his career has included roles from Merchandising, Sales Representative, Area Manager, Key Account Manager. He now is the Red Bull Brand Manager and has other responsibilities as well. He has worked his career in Vermont where he was born and raised. He enjoys golf, and running.


Nick Foster

Red Bull Brand Manager

20 plus years in the beverage industry with Pepsi 16yrs, Ghousen 3 yrs and now Farrell. Delivery Helper, Merchandiser, Sales Rep, Area Manager and now Red Bull Brand Manager. Wife Cindy, Son Clayton (10) and Daughter Hailee (19) who is a student at Norwich University. We have lived in East Barre Vermont for the last 14 years I was born and raised in Vermont. I am also the head boys basketball coach at Montpelier High School.


Rod Cyr

Plant Manager – South Burlington

Rod came to work at FDC in August of 1979 doing route delivery for 16 years in the Montpelier branch before becoming the assistant warehouse manager. Later, Rod became the Warehouse Manager. In 2000 FDC closed the Montpelier warehouse and operated  both territories out of the South Burlington facility where Rod became the Assistant Warehouse Manager  and later becoming the Warehouse Manager again. Rod currently is  the Plant Manager and has been for the past three years. Rod lives with his wife Carol in Barre and has raised two sons Ryan and Chris.


Chris Ray

I.T. / Customer Service Manager

Chris has work at Farrell’s since 2000. Chris is a native Vermonter and graduated from Vermont Technical College. Chris worked as a Computer Systems Engineer for 9 years before coming to Farrell’s. Chris has also managed Farrell’s customer service department since 2008. Chris enjoys golfing, biking and swimming with his kids Tyler and Jocelyn.


Fred Reutling

Warehouse Manager – Rutland

Fred  joined Farrell Distributing Corp. in March of 1998.  Before coming to Farrell Distributing he spent 7 years working in warehousing with a mail order business. During his 17 years with Farrell Distributing Fred has worked in a number of different roles. He began his journey with Farrell Distributing as a Delivery Driver and enjoyed that position for 8 years. Following his time as a driver Fred worked in the position of Route Delivery Supervisor. In March of 2014 he was promoted to the role of Warehouse Manager of the Rutland facility. Fred enjoys spending his free time with his wife Jackie, his daughter Shay and son Alec.


Wes Flanders

Delivery Manager – Rutland

Wes has worked for FDC since the summer of 1995. He has held various positions throughout his tenure with the company, and is currently the Delivery Manager in Rutland. Wes likes hunting, fishing and spending time with his wife and 4 amazing daughters.


Luke Roberge

Safety Officer / Warehouse Manager – South Burlington

Luke has performed many roles at FDC in his 20 years with the company, and is currently the Warehouse Manager in South Burlington. With background in Route Delivery and Warehouse, his main focus today is in HR, safety, and everyday warehouse operations. Outside of work, he spends time with his wife and 2 daughters, Jenn, Emma, and Annabelle, he’s an avid basketball player and golfer, and enjoys working around their home in Jericho.

Nichole has been with Farrell Distributing for over 6 years with numerous responsibilities, currently as our On Premise Marketing Manager. Nichole is responsible for grass roots and field marketing of our key Beer, Wine and Red Bull brands. Among many responsibilities, Nichole manages our state wide promotional teams, the coordination and execution of our consumer media programs, promotional events, and special events. Nichole is from Essex Jct. Vermont and is a graduate of the University of Vermont. Nichole in her spare time enjoys being outside with family and friends and enjoying time with her dogs.


Jeff Baker

Education & Training Manager ” Curator Of The Curriculum”

I’ve traveled far and wide, scouring the country for the best craft beers and the finest wines. I’ve worked my way up the East Coast from my home state of Florida, through a stint in Boston, to making Vermont my home. This new role will provide me the opportunity to engage more in the act of teaching. My path into, and through, fine wine and craft beer has always been driven by my love of knowledge.In vino veritas. I enjoy learning and I revel in the opportunity to share what I’ve learned with others.


Mike Gordon

Mike started in the fall of 1987 as a merchandiser. Sold a wine and beer route over the next 15 years. Moved on to be the Area Manager in that area for 10 years. Been on the Key Account team as a manager since.


Jeff Greene

KAM

Jeff has worked in the beverage industry for 27 years in many different capacities. Jeff Started in the warehouse at FDC working nights and weekends during college. After graduation Jeff worked on Trucks, merchandising and in Sales before accepting a position at Long Trail as Regional Manager. Jeff came home to FDC in 2009 as an Area Sales Manager and is currently a Key account manager. Jeff enjoys playing/coaching Hockey and Softball, Fishing and Spending time with his Wife Tina and kids McKenna and Mason.


Joe Bizzarro

KAM

Joe has been at Farrell Distributing for over 25 years working out of the Rutland branch. He started as a route delivery person, moving to a sales position and then to an ASM. He was promoted to sales manger where he held the position for 7 + years. He also had a 4 year period where he was a beverage buyer for a local c-store and grocery store chain. In his current position he manages and develops relationships with his account base.


John Alger

Delivery Manager – South Burlington

John Alger started working for FDC out of the Montpelier branch in 1988 as a route driver. John was transferred to the South Burlington branch in the fall of 1999 after the Montpelier Branch was consolidated into our South Burlington operation. Through the years John has held various supervisory positions within the delivery / logistics department. Currently, John holds the position of Delivery Manager for our South Burlington operation. Within this capacity, John ensures our deliveries run smoothly throughout the northern half of Vermont. He is married with two children and has done two tours of service with the US Army in Kuwait and Afghanistan.


Dawn Rowlee

Wine Brand Manager – Rutland

Dawn is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a Degree in Science. She started in the Vermont wholesale wine and craft business in 2002. Prior to that she worked in the restaurant industry for 15 years where she developed her passion for Oregon, French and Italian wines. Growing up in a Vermont Agricultural family she takes pleasure in working with our Vermont producers to help promote their products. With FDC she will continue her role managing Wine Portfolios and working as part of the sales team to  support both Restaurant and Retail accounts.

Dawn enjoys hiking the hills of New England with her German Shepard Zora.


Taylor Cameron

Wine Brand Manager – South Burlington

Taylor was first introduced to the world of fine wine by family members who had just returned from a sabbatical in Australia. After graduating from UVM he made the snowboarder’s pilgrimage to Lake Tahoe. With Tahoe as a home base, Taylor started exploring the west coast wine regions from Santa Barbara to Napa and even into the Willamette Valley and eastern Washington. During this time Taylor jumped into the deep end of the Wine and Spirit Education Trust which he stuck with all the way through the Diploma program. Next stop was Seattle where Taylor received a crash course in distribution and small production old world wines at a boutique importer. After five years on the west coast it was time to head back east. Taylor took a job with the esteemed Michael Skurnik Wines where the next four years he “pounded the pavement” in Manhattan and worked with some of the city’s most exciting restaurants.  Taylor is now back in Vermont and is applying his studies, experiences and vision to the fine wine portfolio at FDC.


Scott Pearce

Craft Beer Brand Manager

Scott joined the Farrell Team in October 2015, previously he was the Southern VT and Western MA Rep for Harpoon Brewery for 4 years. Since joining Farrell he has held the position of Area Sales Manager and now Craft Brand Manager. Scott is taking his love and passion of craft beer and using it to build the Farrell brands in accounts all across Southern VT. Scott lives in the Woodstock area and is a 2008 graduate of Norwich University. In his free time he enjoys being outside fishing, playing sports, hitting the slopes, and of course, enjoying a beer!


Lynn Celentano

Office Manager – Rutland

Lynn began working in the office at Farrell in September 2000. She was promoted to Office Manager in December of 2004. Lynn worked in the banking field for 15 years before coming to Farrell’s. She enjoys spending time at the beach and watching her kids play soccer & downhill race for Pico. She lives in Rutland Town with her husband Julia and Maci.


Josh Trombley

Area Sales Manager – South Burlington

Josh has been in sales for the last 16 years and lucky enough to have spent 11 of those years at FDC. Rrecently being asked to lead a team of five sales professionals. Have aways have had a true passion for our portfolio and am looking forward to growing the brands represented within the FDC portfolio.
