Throughout its history, Farrell Distributing has partnered with local organizations to help those in need  throughout Vermont, while supporting our local arts, and other signature events. Learn more about some of those partnerships below.

Folds of Honor

In partnership with the Vermont Lake Monsters, we launched this campaign to fund scholarships aimed at assisting Vermont’s military families in 2013. The program funded six $5,000 scholarships through 2019, with more to come!


Business to Business Support

Farrell Distributing is a proud member and partner of numerous chambers and business organizations helping sponsor member gatherings and through legislative advocacy.


Community Award

In 2016 the Lake Chamber Regional of Commerce awarded Farrell Distributing the Community Award. The Community Award recognizes a company that is not only a vital part of our economy, but through their commitment to our community, shapes our future.


Make the Cut

Beverage Warehouse in Winooski, Vermont, Farrell Distributing,  and 14th Star Brewing Company in St. Albans, Vermont created a home brew competition open to VT home brewing residents. 500+ submissions had been collected in four years of the competition. This competition was celebrated by folks in the industry and beyond.


Annual Travis Roy Foundation Fundraiser

Farrell Distributing along with the Essex Resort hosted this annual holiday time wine and beer tasting fundraiser for Travis Roy during a 10 year commitment. We are proud to associate ourselves and help Travis in his mission. We have raised over $75,000 in 10 years. Our team was deeply saddened to see the passing of Travis back in 2020.



New England Cooks

Farrell Distributing has worked with and been a sponsor of the New England Cooks television program for over 6 years.  In addition to supporting the brands we represent; our sponsorship has provided the additional indirect benefit of providing support for many of our customers that have appeared on the program. We think New England Cooks is an excellent vehicle to showcase our regional local foodservice professionals and, as you will see, some non-professional, but upcoming cooks as well.


Responsibility Campaigns

We work with some of the top media outlets in the state each year to reinforce important responsibility campaigns “Don’t Drink and Drive”, “Please Recycle” , “Our Roads Our Responsibility”, and “Give a Damn, Don’t Drive Drunk”.



USBG VT

Partnering with the U.S. Bartenders’ Guild Vermont Chapter to provide craft beer related training. These training sessions will focus on the basics of brewing, the history of beer, beer styles and proper serving and storing techniques for publicans. The goal of the trainings is to educate and inform Vermont’s premier bartenders and to prepare them for any beer certifications which they may chose to pursue.


It’s The Beer Talking

Farrell teamed up with Free Press Media to host and help produce a beer podcast to discuss the changing craft beer landscape and explore different angles from a distributors point of view. Available on iTunes and Soundcloud.


Vermont Travel Industry Conference

Farrell has been proud to help quench the thirst of friends and partners at Vermont’s Premier Tourism Conference 2016 & 2017. We joined the tourism industry and it’s colleagues to celebrate our economy, and how to stay up to day in media, market and technology.


Operation Backyard Reno-Vate

This was a mission to take care of one lucky service person – active or retired – and whip their backyard into shape! Mikes Hard Lemonade, Farrell and WOKO were proud to develop Operation Backyard Reno-vate in 2016 & 2017 that awarded two $3,000 donations to one nominated retired service member to help spruce up, outfit, decorate and clean up their backyard.


Flyin Ryan Hawks Foundation

Farrell supports Long Trail Brewing in many efforts to help raise awareness for this great organization. Ryan Hawks was a dynamic human being with a passion and love for the mountains and skiing. As a competitor on the Subaru Freeskiing World Tour, Ryan was well loved, and known as “Flyin Ryan.” In 2011, Ryan was injured at the Kirkwood, CA tour stop and passed away a few days later due the internal injuries he sustained from his fall. Ryan will always be remembered for being a true participant in life who lived every minute.

Shortly after Ryan passed, his family discovered on his computer a set of 13 Core Principles For Living that he had written himself. The Flyin Ryan Hawks Foundation was established to share these values, extend Ryan’s humanness in an effort to enrich the lives of young adventurers, and make the world a better place.


24 Hours of Stratton

The 24 Hours of Stratton. It is a skiing and snowboarding event designed for people of all ages and ability. Winter sports enthusiasts will come together at Vermont’s premier snow-making resort for one of the largest and most magical fundraising events to help underprivileged children in a way that…CHANGES LIVES! We partner with Bud Light, von Trapp Brewery, Zero Gravity, Long Trail and Harpoon.


Annual Forum Fundraiser Dinner

Proudly helping sponsor this great event held by the Vermont Fresh Network each year since 2015.  We join in for the most impressive dinner party of the season! Celebrate the unique and delicious partnerships between Vermont’s culinary crème de la crème at the historic Coach Barn at Shelburne Farms on the shores of Lake Champlain.


Vermont Fresh Network

Farrell Distributing is proud to announce we are the exclusive beverage distribution affiliated partner in 2016 of the Vermont Fresh Network.The Vermont Fresh Network  is dedicated to developing solutions for farmers and chefs to market more locally grown food. This runs in full alignment with our commitment to Made in Vermont.


University of Vermont Business of Craft Beer

The Business of Craft Beer is an online professional certificate program offered by The University of Vermont. Farrell Distributing was proud to be a part of this program early on helping shape the program.


University of Vermont Medical Center Breast Care Center Program

Farrell Distributing along with 20+ local restaurants, and 20+ retail stores that came on board in 2020 has raised more than $400,000 over the last 20 years through this program. For every bottle of selected fine wines from Deutsch  purchased in the months of September and October participating restaurants and Farrell Distributing will each donate $1.00 to our local cancer center at the University of Vermont Medical Center. Also, more recently von Trapp Brewery has jumped in as well, so every pint of von Trapp sold during these months a .25cent donation will be made as well. Please support the participating restaurants that partner to raise funds for our local Cancer Center. You can find the participating restaurants on Facebook during the months of September and October.


Green Drinks With The Skinny Pancake and Farrell’s Made in Vermont Portfolio

Green Drinks is a monthly gathering on the last Tuesday of every month in Burlington where engaged members of our community can meet to network and learn about green initiatives in Vermont. We look forward when this gathering can start taking place once again.



Ride the Point to Point!

The Harpoon Point to Point was created in 2002 to raise funds and awareness for the Vermont Foodbank’s mission to end the growing problem of hunger in Vermont. Whether choosing to tackle 115 miles from Williston, 50 miles from Bethel, or 25 miles in Windsor everyone finishes and celebrates together at Harpoon Brewery in Windsor with hot showers, fresh beer, live music, and a delicious BBQ! Money is also collected through donation growlers throughout the state.


Long Trail Century Ride to benefit Vermont Adaptive

Happy to support this great day to support VT Adaptive, All rides start and finish at Long Trail Brewery in Bridgewater Corners, VT. Three rides, including a century ride, 60 miler and a 20-mile loop for those looking for a shorter ride or for adaptive riders, will take you in and around the beautiful Killington region.


Discover Burlington Jazz Festival

Along with Zero Gravity Craft Brewery and William Hill Winery, we serve as signature sponsors for this annual 5-day music and cultural event. This year the annual Burlington Discover Jazz Festival celebrates it’s 40th anniversary celebrating amazing live music in Burlington, Vermont. In 1983 the Festival gave Vermont’s flourishing jazz community the recognition it deserved – a celebration combining incredible local talent with jazz legends from every corner of the globe. Throughout the event the city comes alive.


Lake Champlain Maritime Festival

In conjunction with Fiddlehead Brewery, we sponsor this annual festival, which features education, entertainment and other activities that draw attention to the natural beauty and history of Lake Champlain.


Vermont Lake Monsters

Farrell Distributing is a partner with the Lake Monsters, the Vermont Lake Monsters are a collegiate summer baseball team located in Burlington, Vermont. From 1994 to 2020, they were members of Minor League Baseball’s New York–Penn League. They play their home games at Centennial Field, one of the oldest minor league stadiums, on the campus of the University of Vermont.  The Beer Pavilion in right field offers exceptional views, and cold beer!


Champlain Valley Exposition

As a partner of the Champlain Valley Exposition, we sponsor the Bud Light Music Series, bringing some of the best national music talent to the Exposition stage and thousands of Vermonters. Our teams are around all week hosting events and samplings, come by and say hello.


Purple Hearts Reunited

Farrell Distributing is proud to be associated this tremendous organization in partnership with the 14th Star Brewing Company. Purple Hearts Reunited was established in Vermont in 2012 by Zachariah Fike. As a registered 501 (c)(3) nonprofit foundation, Purple Hearts Reunited locates lost or stolen military medals and returns them to veterans or their living family members in order to honor their sacrifice to the nation.


Burlington City Arts

Farrell helps support the BCA on there monthly art openings. In 1995, BCA won permission from the City of Burlington to convert the ground floor of the former firehouse building (now The BCA Center) into a fine arts gallery on a trial basis. Since then, the Center has blossomed into Vermont’s premiere location for contemporary art.


People’s United Bank Vermont City Marathon & Relay

Farrell Distributing , Michelob Ultra is a proud sponsor of the Vermont City Marathon; Vermont’s largest one day sporting event in Vermont. The KeyBank Vermont City Marathon & Relay is a community effort, recognizing all those who have had a hand in making the race a success for 26 years. From the runners and the volunteers to the crowds cheering on the sidelines, we all share the same desire to cross the finish line, now and in the future.

HIGHER GROUND and GRACE POTTER are pleased to bring the eighth annual GRAND POINT NORTH MUSIC FESTIVAL to Burlington’s Waterfront Park, we are proud to be on site with Citizen Cider, Prophecy Wine and Red Bull.
